Sometimes you've just got to go pastel.

I made this cardigan a while ago and have been wearing it religiously. Lilac, peplum, lace and cats?! Pretty epic.

The other day I bought my flights to London! I am crazy excited and cannot wait to frolic around Europe all July. This is definitely gonna motivate me through writing a 5000 word literature review over the next few weeks! Can't wait to go back to Euro Disney, admire the buildings in Barcelona and eat everything in Italy!

I left England over 7 years ago and haven't been back yet so this will be really weird and special for me.

If you know of any amazing places that I just can't miss, basically anywhere in Europe, then let me know! Also, where are the best places to shop in London?

FRUIT SALAD - Daily Outfit

It's starting to cool down here in Queensland. The mornings are crisp and I'm getting the urge to drink hot chocolate and buy boots. But, instead, of diving head first into my adored jacket and tights collections I thought I'd appreciate the tail of summer and all it's loveliness.

I found this gem of a jacket recently and it immediately became one of my favies. LOOK AT THAT PRINT! Thank you, 80s.

This Moschino belt was my Mam's but the original belt died a long time ago and I finally (after about 5 years) found a perfect replacement belt. 80s Moschino had it going on! Seriously, google it. Thanks again, 80s.

Queen of the Dolls

I don't know if you can see to clearly but my crown is made of Barbie heads.

I had a few heads lying around so, naturally, I glued them to a headband and proclaimed myself Queen of the Dolls. Consider this a form of extreme procrastination.

Look at my kitty just laying there thinking she owns the world. What a freaking cutie pie.

Monochromacity

Don't you just love handmade black PVC jackets? I know right! Imagine my sheer delight when I found this baby in the fancy dress section at my fave thrift joint. Immediate closet staple.

It's shiny and makes crinkly noises and makes me feel like the only girl in the T birds (inexplicably shunning the Pink Ladies, my apologies, Rizo).

Look at Moo just peeking out behind me. Oh why must you torment me so!?

Hope you're having a lovely Wednesday! I'm on mid-semester break so I'm rather busy with all these stupid assignments but I'm making time to make some vegan easter treats and re-watch every episode of Girls (I'm getting withdrawals already).

Kaleidoscope Kasual

This jacket is the business. It's one half of a seriously fierce 80s business suit that I fully intend on wearing together one of these days. The shoddy lighting of pretty much every photo I take doesn't reveal it's glimmery perfection. Unless I'm looking through the viewfinder photos just seem to turn into a grainy mess!

My cat is the biggest creep. She's lurks in the back of almost every photo. Go and do your own catty things.

Autumn Vibez

It's barely Autumn, I mean, I was boiling wearing this jacket and tights, but, nevertheless, I'm excited for my favourite season! Here in Queensland it's getting cool enough for me to bust out my vintage jacket collection but I haven't yet turned into the Gigantic Baby that surfaces every winter.

Weird Face et Kitty Cat

Would it be weird if I said I was enjoying Uni? Yeah, that's weird. That's so weird for me. But, seriously, I'm doing my thesis on Speciesism and I get excited about stuff like that. At the moment I'm happy hanging around in the library all day and making jewels by night. It's like a significantly less cool version of Cat Woman.

Also, I have no idea what my face is doing. It just happens sometimes (all the time).
